Canyon of Colca Full Day

Arequipa - Chivay - Cruz del Sur

Discover one of the deepest canyons in the world, the Colca Canyon, a natural wonder that combines breathtaking landscapes, Andean villages, and the majestic flight of the condor. 💲 Entrance Fees (not included) Colca Canyon Tourist Ticket: approx. Hotel Pick-up in Arequipa Early in the morning, our private transportation will pick you up from your hotel to begin the journey to the Colca Valley.

03:30 – 06:00

Drive to Chivay We travel through the Pampas Cañahuas Reserve, home to vicuñas, alpacas, and diverse Andean wildlife. Short stop at Patahuasi for hot beverages (not included).

06:00 – 07:00

Breakfast in Chivay Enjoy a traditional breakfast in the town of Chivay before continuing to the Cruz del Cóndor.

07:00 – 08:30

Journey to Cruz del Cóndor Travel along scenic roads with panoramic views of agricultural terraces and villages.

08:30 – 10:00

Cruz del Cóndor Viewpoint Marvel at the majestic flight of the Andean condor, one of the highlights of the experience, as well as the impressive depth of the canyon.

10:00 – 12:00

Villages of Pinchollo, Maca & Yanque Visit picturesque Andean villages, their colonial churches, handicrafts, and stunning views of the Colca Valley.

12:00 – 13:30

Lunch in Chivay Optional buffet lunch in Chivay (not included), with local Andean cuisine.

13:30 – 17:30

Return to Arequipa On the way back, we stop at: Patapampa Viewpoint (4,910 m / 16,109 ft): known as the Andean viewpoint, with stunning views of volcanoes and mountains. Toqra Wetlands: a habitat for Andean birds and camelids. Arrival in Arequipa around 5:30 PM.
