2 of 2Day 2: Cruz del Cóndor – Colca Villages – Return to Arequipa
Our journey begins before dawn as we head toward the magnificent Colca Valley, crossing Andean landscapes that seem to touch the sky. Along the way, we’ll encounter the stunning wildlife of the Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve, home to graceful vicuñas, alpacas, and llamas. From the Viewpoint of the Volcanoes, the grand peaks of Misti, Chachani, and Sabancaya will greet us on the horizon. Upon arrival in Chivay, we’ll enjoy a delicious traditional lunch and, in the afternoon, unwind in the soothing thermal waters of La Calera, surrounded by mountains and pure tranquility.
